چکیده
The present study investigated the stability and efficacy of a biosurfactant produced by Klebsiella sp. KOD36 under extreme conditions its potential for enhancing solubilization degradation phenanthrene in various environmental matrices. mono-rhamnolipids with low critical micelle concentration (CMC) value. was stable (60 °C, pH 10 10% salinity) could lower surface tension 30% maintained an emulsification index > 40%. emulsion also higher (17–43%) presence petroleum hydrocarbons compared to synthetic surfactant Triton X-100. Investigation on three different matrices (aqueous, soil-slurry soil) confirmed that enhanced biodegradation all high functional performance show great remediation applications harsh conditions.

Quorum sensing: implications on rhamnolipid biosurfactant production.
Quorum sensing (QS) has received significant attention in the past few decades. QS describes population density dependent cell to cell communication in bacteria using diffusible signal molecules. These signal molecules produced by bacterial cells, regulate various physiological processes important for social behavior and pathogenesis. One such process regulated by quorum sensing molecules is th...
متن کاملPRODUCTION OF RHAMNOLIPID BIOSURFACTANT FROM A MARINE Pseudomonas aeruginosa
Biosurfactants are surface-active agents produced by hydrocarbanoclastic bacteria isolated from oil contaminated sites. In the present study a potential oil degrading bacterium was isolated from Cuddalore harbor waters and identified as Pseudomonas aeruginosa by using both biochemical and 16S rRNA sequencing. Growth optimization of the strain was done against varying physiochemical parameters v...
متن کاملthe effect of functional/notional approach on the proficiency level of efl learners and its evaluation through functional test
in fact, this study focused on the following questions: 1. is there any difference between the effect of functional/notional approach and the structural approaches to language teaching on the proficiency test of efl learners? 2. can a rather innovative language test referred to as "functional test" ge devised so so to measure the proficiency test of efl learners, and thus be as much reliable an...

The present study investigated the isolation and identification of biosurfactant producing bacteria from Iranian oil wells. The biosurfactant production of bacteria isolates was evaluated and confirmed using hemolysis and emulsification tests. The biodegradation of crude oil was studied using GC and HPLC analysis. A total of 45 strains have been isolated. These strains showed less than a 40 mN ...
متن کاملPhenanthrene degradation in soils co-inoculated with phenanthrene-degrading and biosurfactant-producing bacteria.
Contaminant sorption within the soil matrix frequently limits biodegradation. However, contaminant bioavailability can be species-specific. This study investigated bioavailability of phenanthrene (PHE) to two PHE-degrading bacteria (Pseudomonas strain R and isolate P5-2) in the presence of rhamnolipid biosurfactant and/or a biosurfactant-producing bacterium, Pseudomonas aeruginosa ATCC 9027. Ps...
